APERTURA - OPENING

Estimados socios:

Apertura del campo

Como ya informamos en su día el próximo lunes 14 de Octubre reabriremos los 18 hoyos, aprovechamos para informarles de lo siguiente;

Dear Members,

Course opening

We have kept everyone updated by email and website reports,now that the reopening of the 18 holes is near, next October 14th, please read and follow carefully the following advices;

Overseeding and buggies on the path

After considering the options and limiting factors, it was decided that fairways would be overseeded with Poa Trivialis, and roughs with Tall Fescue.

Germination and establishment of any grass requires restricted traffic and well-moistened soil until root the system develops. Traffic restriction prevents direct damage to the young seedlings and avoids foot traffic in waterlogged soil. Therefore it is necessary that buggies be kept on the cart paths for at least a month (depending on the weather)*.

*On the front nine holes, only club buggies will be permitted, these buggies are equipped with a control fleet system that enables us to limit the access on to any vulnerable surface.
NB.
The use of buggies at this time is to help those members who cannot play without the use of a buggie.
The GPS system allows detailed accurate information regarding the movement of buggies on the course, such you chose a buggie please note that a log from each buggie will be monitored. Should any Member(s) chose not to observe the understandable request to keep on paths at all times disciplinary action will take place.

Local Rules

During the next weeks, the rough of the front nine holes will be considered "Ground under repair". To ensure easy, quick and understandable play, you will find obligatory drop zones in holes 4 and 7 (par 3's).

I truly appreciate your patience and help. With proper care we will achieve a healthy, enjoyable turf for the future.

Kind regards.
