Informe sobre Mantenimiento de los Arboles. Febrero

El Arboreto en RCG Las Brisas es uno de los activos mas importantes que define la esencia de nuestro campo. Diseñado originalmente por Gerald Huggan, ofrece una buena cantidad de especies de todo el mundo, proporcionando color durante la mayor parte del año.

Contando con tal joya, un Arborista Certificado se encarga del mantenimiento, evaluando cada uno de los árboles en un programa de tres años, y corrigiendo  los problemas detectados cuando es necesario, utilizando técnicas de anclaje y poda.

Si tiene instalado Google Earth en su ordenador, puede descargar el siguiente archivo y hacer clic en él para ver las actuaciones llevadas a cabo en la última visita de febrero.

Encontrará iconos en cada árbol que fue analizado durante esta visita. En azul verá aquellos que necesitan acciones en un futuro cercano. En rojo verá aquellos sobre los que el Arborista ha trabajado. Si hace clic en cualquier icono, se muestra mas información.

Report on Tree Maintenance. February

The Arboretum in RCG Las Brisas is one of the most important assets that defines the scense of our course. Originally designed by Gerald Huggan, it brings a good number of species from all around the world, providing color during almost the whole year around.

Considering such a gem, a Certified Arborist takes care of its maintenance, assesing every single tree in a three years program, and correcting problems when needed using anchoring and pruning techniques.

If you got Google Earth installed in your computer, you can download the following file and just click on it to see the actions taken during past visit in February 2020.

You will find icons in every tree that were analised during this visit. In blue you will see those that need some actions in the near future. In red you will see those where the Arborist have worked. If you click on any icon futher information is shown.

¿WHAT KIND OF WORKS HAPPEN DURING OUR SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE WEEK CLOSURE (JULY 2019)?

To maintain Real Club de Golf Las Brisas in the best possible condition all year round, it is necessary to do regular maintenance to ensure the best condition of our grass. The maintenance programme for our fairways and roughs is at the same level as some of the world´s most prestigious golf courses

The beginning of July is the best time to undertake maintenance works for the fairways and roughs, while the bermuda is fully growing. This also coincides with our low playing season

Performing all of this maintenance work with our own team requires an excessive amount of time and resources

Therefore, we work with Tinegolf, a maintenance company specialized in this type of job, which will allow the necessary work to be done in a short amount of time.

We take advantage of the course being closed to carry out other work on greens and tees, sodding projects, tree pruning, tree planting and other special projects.
